Kangook Classic


The Kangook Classic is the only model offered by Kangook Paramotors that comes with a double hoop completely protecting the propeller.  This is an excellent configuration for schools, beginners, trikes, and those that prefer a clutch-less motor.  Just like the Phoenix K2 and the Vikking, the Classic is available in 132cm and 146cm cage diameters. The Classic also comes in a Heavy Duty version as well for a additional cost of $150.

The 132cm Kangook Classic allows the use of propellers up 125cm.

The 146cm Kangook Classic allows the use of propellers up 135cm.

Similar to the Kangook Phoenix K2, the Classic starts with the classic center frame. The classic frame is available with two engine attachment possibilities. The direct engine attachment features engine mounting rails welded to the frame providing for the lightest possible paramotor. The other option is the multi fit frame. The classic multi fit frame features a generic mounting which utilizes an engine adapter specific to the engine of choice. The multi fit frame can be refitted for a different engine at any time by replacing the engine adapter.

The cage of the 146cm Classic can be upgraded with the Kangook Protect option offering the enhanced safety afforded through better netting coverage (the protect option is not available on the 132cm Classic or the Heavy Duty Cage). The 146cm Classic can also be upgraded with the heavy duty option where the tube diameter is increased for added rigidity and strength. For those looking at wheeled launch options, the heavy duty option is a must have.

The 3-piece hoops are secured to the frame with straps and to each other with high strength Velcro.  They can be installed or removed in less than 2 minutes making transport to the field a breeze regardless the type of vehicle.

Have a double hoop Classic but decided you want a single hoop? One of the greatest features of the Kangook Classic is it’s ability to convert in a Kangook Phoenix K2! Converting is as simple as replacing the hoops as well as the foot section. No adjustments need to be made to the engine, harness, or swing arms and the entire transformation takes less than 2 minutes. Please note that due to differences in frame height, a 132cm frame cannot be made into a 146cm frame and a 146cm frame cannot be made into a 132cm frame.

The Kangook Classic offers impressive torque compensation coupled with amazing weight shift!  Torque compensation is accomplished using a simple spacer, placed depending on the rotation of the propeller.  This is a simple yet effective way to minimize turning tendencies cause by the engine torque.

The Kangook Classic is finished with a durable powder coat finish.  The center frame is finished in black while the hoop sections are available in either orange or black.  The netting is also available in either orange or black colors.  The stainless-steel swing arms are finished in matte silver and the aluminum CNC swan neck arms come standard orange with black available upon request.

Like all Kangook Paramotors, the Classic is constructed entirely from 6061 T6 aviation grade aluminum.  Fully welded frames are strong and have very few if any nuts, bolts, rivets or any other type of fastener.  Fewer fasteners mean less worry of parts shaking loose from the vibration of a single cylinder engine and departing your frame and flying through your propeller.
